New Delhi, September 2025:
A Swami Vivekananda Study Circle was formally launched at Rajdhani College, University of Delhi, with an orientation session addressed by Dr. Nikhil Yadav, Deputy Head of Vivekananda Kendra, North Zone.
In his inaugural address, Dr. Yadav explained the objectives of the Study Circle and how it can guide students in shaping their lives. He emphasized that the forum is not a routine society, as it bears the name of the great saint Swami Vivekananda. “Its role is much larger, and both the volunteers and faculty associated with it have a significant responsibility,” he remarked.

Principal of Rajdhani College Prof. Darshan Pandey felicitated Dr. Nikhil Yadav Dr. Nikhil Yadav currently leads Vivekananda Kendra’s activities across Delhi, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Jammu & Kashmir, and Ladakh. An alumnus of the University of Delhi, he holds a Ph.D.
from the Centre for Studies in Science Policy, Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), and is also a member of the Hindi Advisory Committee, Ministry of Textiles, Government of India.
Recognised among India’s “30 Under 30” Youth by Mrigtrishna Magazine and Rama Global Foundation, Dr. Yadav has authored several thought-provoking works, including Living the Vivekananda Way: Practical Spirituality for Modern India (Rupa, co-author) and Influence of the Ramakrishna-Vivekananda Movement on Gandhi (Garuda).

He is also the driving force behind “Young India: Know Thyself”, a leadership development programme that has engaged more than 1.5 lakh college students across Delhi-NCR. Under this initiative, over 3,000 students have joined one-day camps and 1,000 have participated in five-day residential camps.

With research interests in History, History of Science, Indian culture and heritage, and the Ramakrishna-Vivekananda Movement, Dr. Yadav has presented papers and delivered lectures at prestigious institutions including South Asian University, AIIMS New Delhi, UPSC training institutes, and over 35 colleges under the University of Delhi. A prolific writer, he also contributes regularly to leading national journals and magazines.
