2. Finance Track –It focuses on financial regulation, fiscal issues and currency in all meetings with finance ministers and central bank governors of the G-20 group and their representatives.

• Both the Sherpa and Finance tracks rely on the technical and substantive work of a series of expert working groups.

Important Points of G-20 Summit :-

1. The first annual G-20 summit with the participation of G-20 national presidents and heads of government was held in Washington in the year 2008.

2. India is presiding over the 2023 summit.
