Some precautions to be taken before Panchakarma? :-
There are two procedures before Panchakarma, which you need to complete. First oilation (oiling the body) and second fomentation (removing sweat from the body).In the process of oiling, oil is applied all over your body. Oil massage is done in your body in different ways. This helps in flushing out the toxins from your body.In this fermentation process, sweat comes out of your body.
In the oilation process the toxins are softened and in the foamation process these toxins become diluted or watery. The ailation process works to soften the hardened toxins, while the foamation helps to flush it out of the body through sweat. This process is done in Ayurvedic.

These five steps are given as follows.
1. Vomiting: The first step of Panchakarma: –
Your body has to go through the process of oilation and fermentation internally and externally for a few days. In this process you are made to vomit. Both these processes have to be done till the toxins don’t take liquid form. Apart from this, the entire toxic substance should not be collected in the upper part of the body.Till then the copy continues. After this you are given vomiting medicine.

For this procedure, a gentle massage is done on your head and shoulders to prepare you for Nasya Panchakarma.In this procedure, a drop is inserted into your nose, which helps to remove waste material from your head. Once the waste material is removed from the head, you get relief from migraine, headache and hair problems. Nasya procedure is considered very good for removing phlegm from the nose and head.
4. Raktamokshan: The fourth step of Panchakarma therapy: –
In Raktamokshan, your body’s bad blood is cleaned. Raktamokshan procedure is very useful in protecting from diseases caused by bad blood. In this process, the bad blood of a particular part of the body or the whole body is cleaned. Raktamokshana is very beneficial in curing skin diseases like acne and eczema.
5. Anuvasanavasti: The fifth stage of Panchakarma therapy: –
Anuvasanavasti is a unique Ayurvedic remedy. In this process, some liquid beverages are used to remove toxins from your body. Liquid foods such as oil, milk and ghee are passed into your rectum. Anuvasanavasti is very useful in curing chronic diseases.

• One should not sleep during the day during Panchakarma.
• One should not stay awake till late night during Panchakarma.
• Do not eat hard-to-digest foods during Panchakarma.
• Do not have sex during the Panchakarma period.
• High temperature should be avoided during Panchakarma.
Some people should not use Panchakarma :-
• Panchakarma should not be done during menstruation.
• It is better if the person who is a patient of high blood pressure does not use Panchakarma. It can be harmful for them.
• Breastfeeding women also should not use Panchakarma.
• Lung cancer patients should not use Panchakarma.
• Even a very weak person should not use this Panchakarma.
• Women or men suffering from excessive obesity should not use this Panchakarma.
• People suffering from any infectious disease should also not use this Panchakarma.
• Men or women suffering from AIDS should not use this Panchakarma.
• Heart patients also should not use this Panchakarma.
• Pregnant women also should not use this Panchakarma.
